Q:I heard/read somewhere that exercising can help your posture. I was wondering how does it help? And are there any exercises that help improve your posture more than other exercises?
I would assume that anything that works your core would have the largest impact on your posture. Crunches, captain’s chair, russian twists, etc…

Back exercises would give the best results: lat pulldown, seated row, the (cardio) rowing machine & plank/hover.

If you do the exercise Bridge and instead of putting your palms face down place them face up to help open up your chest and that helps with posture of not slouching. Any kind of exercise that performs extension of the spine corrects slouching.
